Gary Young, the mastermind behind the Shock Mount, was the original drummer for PAVEMENT. He drummed on and recorded their first 5 Record's in his studios.  Gary also has 2 CD's out as Gary Young's Hospital which you can see below, Gary currently runs his studio Louder Than You Think Recording and manufactures  the Universal Microphone Shock Mount.
